on the 22nd of March 2026, the Doula Association was created by five active doulas living and working in Luxembourg, a truly special and meaningful day for us, as it marks the beginning of a shared vision to support, uplift and bring greater visibility to the work of doulas while nurturing a strong, caring community around families and solo parents.
Our story...
It all began with a strong and heartfelt calling, the calling to finally create an association. A space where our shared values, our passion, our vision and support could come together and grow. From this calling, our association was born.
We are a group of deeply motivated and courageous doulas who believe in the strength of every woman. We show up with open hearts, open ears and without judgment. We listen, we hold space and we bring calm and reassurance when everything is in motion.
Our mission is to reclaim birth as what it truly is: something natural, powerful and deeply transformative. We want every woman to feel seen, heard and supported, no matter what her path looks like.
We dare to walk new paths. We dare to give voice to topics that are too often left in the shadows. And above all, we dare to stand with full conviction beside the families who place their trust in us.
Our association is more than a collaboration it's a community. A community of strength, empathy and solidarity. We support each other, we learn from one another and we grow together.
